"Après moi, le déluge" is a set phrase used to denigrate the attitude of someone who acts irresponsibly, without worrying on the consequences that his/her acts could have. Something like: "I don't care what happens next, I'll be gone", "The world could collapse after I'm gone, no big deal".
Louis XV is the guy who famously remarked, “Apres moi, le deluge.” Or, “After me, the deluge.”
There seems to be some controversy as to whether he was uttering a prediction—the French Revolution broke out 15 years after his death,or simply observing that he didn’t give a shit what happened after he exited the planet.

« Après moi le déluge, » disait Louis XV. Ce fut un déluge de sang. — (Émile Cantrel, Nouvelles à la main sur la comtesse du Barry, 1861) -
